1999 Grants
American Rivers ($7,000) to support the group’s involvement with the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group;

Grand Canyon Trust ($10,000) to support efforts to protect the Grand Canyon’s air quality and the new seeps and springs project;

Grand Canyon Wildlands Council ($6,000) to assist the cataloguing of canyon flora and fauna and the publication of research;

Hualapai Department of Natural Resources ($3,000) to support a natural resources education Grand Canyon river trip for Hualapai youth;

Grand Canyon River Guides ($8,000) to support the Adopt-A-Beach monitoring project and work with the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group;

Grand Canyon Youth ($5,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for outdoor education programs to promote youth environmental awareness and community involvement in Grand Canyon;

Environmental Traveling Companions ($6,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities;

River of Dreams ($6,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities; and

Wilderness Inquiry ($5,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities.
