| Hualapai Department of Natural Resources ($5,000) to support
a natural resources education Grand Canyon river trip for Hualapai tribal
youth; Grand Canyon Trust ($12,000) to support efforts to protect the canyon’s seeps and springs and to address related regional water issues; Grand Canyon Wildlands Council ($8,000) for the general advancement of the group’s mission; Grand Canyon River Guides ($12,000) to support the Adopt-A-Beach monitoring project, and work with the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group; Grand Canyon Youth ($4,500) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for outdoor education programs to promote youth environmental awareness and community involvement in Grand Canyon; Environmental Traveling Companions ($4,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities; National Ability Center ($8,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities; and River of Dreams ($4,000) to provide river trip scholarship assistance for people with disabilities. |
